Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country
What doesn't work - remote transmitter will not lock, unlock, open, or close any of the four doors and liftgate; manual switches on inside of front doors will not lock or unlock the doors. What does work - the horn honks when the ''lock'' button on the remote transmitter is pressed. (The transmitter batteries have been replaced.) The buttons inside the vehicle do activate the side doors and the liftgate, to both open and close them. The fuse chart in the operator's manual provides no help in determining which fuse isolates this system - and none of the ''suspect'' fuses are blown. Not sure this is pertinent, but the liftgate latch was closed on a piece of aluminized fabric; these problems began at that time or shortly afterwards.
There is an update foe the body control module that will generally fix the problem. you will ned to take it to the dealer to have it done.
