Question about 2003 Mazda Tribute
Mazda tribute 3.L 2003 SOMETIMES WHEN I BRAKE IT SEEMS THAT THE ABS CUTS IN . ALSO I CAN TELL WHEN THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN BECAUSE THERE IS A CLICKING SOUND COMING FROM THE DRIVERS FOOTWELL. AT ALL OTHER TIMES THE BRAKES ARE FINE .I HAVE HAD NO ABS LIGHT COME ON AND WHEN MY MAZDA GARAGE PLUGED IN THERE PC IT COULD NOT FIND A FAULT. I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE ABS RELAY PLAYINY UP BUT IDO NOT KNOW WHERE TO FIND IT .
PLEASE CAN YOU HELP.
You most likely have a wheel sensor dropping out and showing o mph this would make abs think one wheel locked up and activate unit. would not set a code because system thinks it is doing its job. need to have a scanner on it and read data when driving. does it do this at lower speeds? if so i bet they will see a speed sensor drop to 0 then abs kick in
