Try to start my 95 dodge dakota and it won't start

Starter works fine. but when i try to start it it tries to start but acts like it doesn't get any gas. might have gotten some bad gas. was wondering if i needed to change the gas line or take the carburator off and clean it or both?

Dont take carb off, drain fuel from tank if you got bad gas, fill with good gas, pull fuel line off carb and turn on key if have electric fuel pump, this will clean out line. get a spray can of carb cleaner from auto store and spray carb. hook up fuel line and try to start, should clean out carb with fresh fuel

Won't start when wet out

Most often it is either a problem with the battery or the starter. You could try jump starting it, otherwise might have to tow it----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My 2005 caravan won't start. When I turn the key I hear a clicking sound but it doesn't start. It worked fine earliar today. The battery is fine for now.

Possible causes are: 1. Loose or corroded battery cables. 2. Bad starter 3. Dead battery. Try tapping on the starter with a hammer while someone is holding the key in the start position. If it starts then replace the starter. Thanks

You may want to check the wiring that is in you car between the starter and the key since you said you tried directly connecting the starter to the battery. Check for loose connections. Also most ignition systems have a capacitor in them, check it out if needs replacing

My 95 Dodge Dakota won't start. The electrical seems to be working fine but the engine won't even try to turn over

sounds like you may have a defective starter solenoid, the contacts in the solenoid get burnt and u get a no crank.

95 dakota dies when warmed up

yes it can but you may have a coolant temp sensor acting up which causes the computer to open the injectors to much which can also cause this 02 sensor code. when it stalls do u have spark and fuel pressure.
