Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix
Does anyone know how hard or easy it may be to replace the rear view mirror on the passenger side? My daughter telss me she swiped a trash can in the street and knocked the mirror out. It looks like I need to replace the mirror housing and all.
Can anyone advise? with procedure, if possible?
As the owner of a 2001 Grand Prix GTP I can tell you that the mirror you speak of is not terribly difficult to replace, but you need the tools to remove the inside panels in the front corner of the window to get to it. Once you get that off there should be three bolts/nuts that hold the mirror on and if you have power mirrors then of course you'll have an electrical connector in there as well.
I dont have any instructions wrote up but there is a Grand Prix car club forum you can check that may have some information on how to replace it in more detail. You can go to grandprixforums.net, sign up and post up your problem and Im sure someone there will probably have specific instructions.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
