go to and look up your truck and filter. at the top of the screen should be a repair and install option that usually tells everything you need to know

After running with bad o2 sencor for 2 days, starts stalling and idling bad why does my car run badly after new extractors and o2 sencor?

Find out why the light is on. Maybe you broke or dislodged a connector when you replaced the sensor.

My 97 Dodge Ram 1500 is shaking when you start it and shakes the whole time its running but it will stop shaking after 2000rpm

If you don't have a check eng light on for a code to read, only three things it can be 1 clogged injector or carb try running Lucas injector cleaner 2 idle setting adjust to ness running cond 3 fuel filter and or pump they are one unit located in the tank easiest to change with a buddy by pulling the box about 12bolts and a couple wire clips lift the box off and pump is right on top inserted in the tank. Pulling the straps and dropping the tank works but harder if the tank has gas and straps maybe rusted depending on location

1997 chevy lumina fuel system lean (bank 1)

have a fuel system pressure test done as there may be a pump--regulator -filter problem. Run fault codes to check the HO2s and O2S sensors

O3 ram 1500 4.7 seems to run find until load is put on or going upa hill ! What could be the problem? Replaced cad o2 sencors fuel pump and plugs!

TIMING not correct, dirty fuel injectors, are your AIR & FUEL FILTERS NEW ? spark plugs gapped incorrectly ! vacuum lines leaking , todays fuel is bad for your truck . lot of miles ? engine could be tired, intake valves worn . overheating @ all ? , restricted cat converter ! its never just one thing, but a sum of a lot of things !!!

1998 Chevy 1500 V6. Auto. Engine cranks fine and will accelerate slowly. If I give it too much gas it will bog down and backfire. The check engine light is not on. What could this be?

It may just need a tune up (new plugs/wires/fuel and air filters). On the other hand it may bad fuel to air ratio. Why your check engine light doesn't come on is a little odd. You might want to check your O2 sensors, just my .02.

Serv. Eng Light mystery

The evaporative emission system is designed to prevent fuel vapors from being released into the atmosphere. The vapors are absorbed and stored by a fuel vapor (evap) charcoal cannister until certain engine conditions are met, then the vapors are purged and burned in the combustion process. I would lean toward a faulty purge solenoid based on the condition that you describe. I would also look at a faulty gas cap. The gas cap is an integral part of the evap system and will cause these kind of problems if faulty and not venting properly. Hope this helps and that you find a resolution to your problem.

Engine shakes periodically; warm or cold. Bad Coil?

the p 0300 codes gives you the clue
it is random misfires and that is predominately from injector and low fuel pressure
pulling a plug lead will amke no difference if there is no fuel in that cylinder to ignite
bad coils will be a constant miss regardless
try putting a can of quality injector cleaner in the tank to see if that fixes the problem
have a fuel pressure tset done to check for pump, filter or pressure regulator problems

Possible o2 sensor 2002 GMC Onvoy

O2 sensors indicate unburned oxygen in the exhaust sysytem. Bad O2 sensors causes fuel mixture to run rich. It causes fuel consumption and your emmissions test will not pass. Check for vacuum leaks check the manifold.check for a misfiring cylinder, a burned exhaust valve that is leaking compression. replace the O2 sensor or sensors. Some cars have 2 . One for the intake another for the out take. If it reads a code for the Map sensor along with the O2. It is better ifyou replace both sensors. But I think that the problem lies in the oxygen sensor or sensors. Pleae vote my answer if this helps.
