by no power do you mean to the solinoid on the starter or main feed. if its the solinoid then its a case of working back along the wire to see where you are loosing power. check your ignition switch is working and putting out 12v at crank. some cars have starter motor relays as well.

I have 2006 dodge charger Rt. I brought new battery an starter an have alternator rebuilt an my car still wont crank

There should be power o the small terminal of the stater anytime the key is in the crank position. I would start with checking that. If there is no power you will need to trace that circuit back.

That wire gets power from the starter relay and the relay gets power from fuse 20 in the TIPM (underhood fuse box). The starter relay control side starts at the ignition switch. The pink with dark green wire should have power with the key in the crank position. That power goes to fuse #10 in the TIPM. it then goes to the starter relay. the starter relay is grounded by the PCM.

Give that a whirl.

What else can be the reason this 2000 Dodge Caravan won't turn over by turning the key while in park.

have you checked the ignition switch thats on the steering column shaft, when you turn the key it moves a rod that moves positions on the switch.

Put new starter on still wont crank

You may have a bad ignition switch, a blown fuse somewhere or a bad relay. Do you have power going to the starter. That is the first thing I look for. Does the starter click at all? If not, it's a relay or the ignition switch.

It is due to one of 2 things. The ignition key can still be sending the start signal to the starter relay through the small wire in the Relay solenoid; or the starter Relay is stuck after it gets the signal from the key and the key is correctly in the RUN position.

You would need to put a voltmeter on the small wire on the starter solenoid. The Relay should not connect the battery to the starter without this small wire attached to it.. If this wire is off and the
starter gets power, the relay is bad. If you test the small wire for power, it should only have power in the START position. The small wire should be powerless in any other position.

If the small wire has power at other times, the ignition switch is bad.

My 87 jeep starter stays ingaged when I try to start it

needs shimmed or the bendix is bad in the starter and not allowing to release. most likely just needs shimmed if it's a new starter, however you can get a bad starter (new or rebuilt)

I put a new battery and a new starter and still when i turn the key i get nothing

Possibly ignition switch. Are you able to troubleshoot? Try this: with car in park or neutral and parking brake on, get under starter with a screwdriver and short the solenoid terminal with the big red wire to the smaller terminal (not the big ground terminal). Be careful not to touch anything else with the screwdriver. The motor should crank if you have power from the battery and the starter is good.
If this works, you either have a bad ignition switch, fuse, relay or wiring. If you can find the ignition relay, you can check both the relay and the ignition switch using the procedures here:

Let me know if you have questions.

I had my starter rebuilt and now the ignition relay switch is very hot and the starter only buzzes. is there a starter fuse? why is the ignition relay instantly so hot? what do i need to check? what do i...

The starter needs to be rebuilt again, something when wrong it it again, it's getting hot because the starter is asking for to many amps, due to other worn parts in it, have them redo, it was not done right.

clicking in the fusebox? And the starter could be because you need a new one. or a rebuilt. The clicking is your starter cylinoid.

1999 XJ Cherokee will not start.

How old is your battery?
Try changing it or charge your battery. At Wal-Mart a new battery is around $50-$60 for a jeep. just look and see how many cca's you need. I think my jeep is 525cca's.
