What agency handles GM dealership fraud?

Recently dealership claimed they repaired automatic ****** lines because we allegedly stated there was a leak, also traction control and service brakes kept coming up on display. Dealer also claimed we said car had oil leak. First, dealer said they replaced ****** lines, hub assembly, wheel bearing, abs harness to front wheel, oh and fixed oil leak by removing ****** and replacing rear engine seal. They did all this in a matter of a few hours. Amazing huh? BS!!! The only evidence of anything being replaced was the wheel harness, there was never any leaks, oil or ****** fluid, wheel bearing never touched, or hub, nor was ****** removed. My question is: I want to report this dealership to GM as the dealership claimed they did all this work and charged GM because the car was still under warranty. Deceptive trade practices is what the government should be pursuing, instead of bashing Big Bird! Somebody help!!!!

I would probably start with Buick's website - - you can email or call for customer service. They should be able to take the complaint or direct you to that department.
The phone number is 1-800-521-7300. There are other numbers at the GM website too.

SOURCE: traction control light comes on off and on. ABS

Could possibly have a bad connection on a wheel speed sensor. This would cause an erratic reading making the ABS light come on because the system thinks a wheel is either slipping or dragging.

SOURCE: AWD Light stays on

3rd dealer stated that the problem was in the differential pump valve, when the temperture sensor was giving a false reading and disconnecting the rear wheel drive. Replaced with GM Part 88896067, and it solved the problem. Mechanic stated that if it is ONLY the AWD light, then this is usually the problem. If the ABS Disable light also goes on, then it is the harness on the wheel sensor.

SOURCE: ABS, Service Vehicle, Tracking lights on

have you had this car scanned for codes? wheel bearing problems are problem, but get it scanned rather than throwing parts in it so many possibilities.

SOURCE: 2005 Buick Century,ABS , TRAC OFF, SERVICE VEHICLE

I think that the ABS TRAC OFF light has more to do with the ABS sensors not giving reliable speed or movement information to the ABS Control Module. Harness connections or broken wires to the module can cause the same problem, or the hub assembly ($49 to $79 to $109 for the part) may have to be replaced to start with.

The driver door window switch not functioning correctly may be a bad or dirty switch which can be obtained from a salvage yard for a lower price than from the dealer. I would test the switch current before replacing, though, with a test light to ensure the wiring is not an issue with this circuit, as well.

Good luck on these repairs on the 2005 Buick Century.
