It started out by me fixing a plate light and while repairing the light I blew out the fuse I replaced the fuse w/ the right amp. than cleaned the light connections and when I went to turn on the lights I started the jeep and noticed the temp gauge was at 260 than the fuel gauge was past full and the volt was at 9 and the oil psi was at 0 any help witth this would be great . Oh p.s. I also tighten the fuse panel it was loose I tighten the two philip screws

my 1996 jeep is doing the same thing.the fuse I have been changing is under hood in fuse panel on left 20 amp sm. in center of fuse panel closest to bat.

Check VSS Vehicule Speed Sensor wire may be corroted, bad connection or faulty; if 2wd the adaptor is located on the extension housing of the transmission (left side)
if 4wd look on transfer case extension (left side)

check fuse #17 in fuse box under hood. It's a 10 red fuse. that's how i fixed my problem.

Who ever thought of putting an electric fuel pump inside a tank of gas........
Check your other gauges for accuracy. They do that when a ground is loose.
Check the wiring from the fuel tank along the longitudinal frame for frays and shorts. Plugs are secured.
Under the hood, passenger side, check the fuel pump relay. Switch it with one of the others to test it.
Bring the vehicle to an auto parts store. Ask them to break out he code reader. Check for diag codes
