Question about 2007 Toyota Yaris
SOURCE: Abs problem on 2007 toyota yaris
first checked with scanner to retrieve codes. Im a toyota technician and the most problem for yaris with abs is the rear wheel sensor wire

Anti lock brakes are disabled. you need to have the car scanned to see which ABS sensor is causing the problem. you can check all the wheels and see if the abs wire going to one of the sensors was ripped out by road debris or ice chunks. you have to look behind each wheel to do this. easier with the wheels off, just follow the wiring and inspect for problems.

SOURCE: ABS and Check Engine Lights on
This could be the case, Car computers don't like being started other than how it was suppose to be started, You will need an error code reader just to confirm there are no problems with the engine then you can clear any stored error codes which will turn off any lights you have on.

have someone pump the pedal and hold it, then you work from the right rear, left rear, right front, left front, while the person pumps and holds several times at each wheel.
