Question about 2001 Kia Sportage
Drinving home the onther night, my kia just died on me. When this happened the engine started to lose power then seem to recoverer a couple of times, made a couple of bangs like the sound of a belt breaking and slapping around and then just died. the engine will turn over but will not fire up. I have noticed a loud eclectrical hum comeing from my rear coil pack when I turn the key in the start postion. I checked the fuel pump and it is pumping. could I have broken my timeing belt, and if so , what kind of damge could this have caused inside the engine
