May be the same as 05 and what you do is with the engine not running and the door closed push the gas petal to the floor three times and it should reset

Why oil service required

I will assume you are referring to a light on your instrument panel which says this. If so, you car has a system to remind you of the need for regular oil changes. Your owner's manual will tell you how to turn off that light after you have changed your oil, if you do it yourself. Your service garage will do it if you have them do it. Do not neglect your oil changes or you may suffer engine failure.
Be blessed.

My check oil light is on, checked oil and it is fine. Just had it changed last month. No oil leaks. What could it be?

you have to reset it by holding the trip reset button and hold it while turning the key but not to start it and keep holding until check oil light flashes

I have a 97 Chevy Lumina. It has 276,*** miles on it. I bought it used 4 months ago. It was running excellent then the service engine soon light, low coolant light, and change oil soon light started coming...

The fact that the oil was low would not be from the oil pump, but from wear in the engine. If it is not smoking when you start it or as you drive, you can probably keep it running by just keeping the oil level checked at each fuel fill-up. As for the car shutting off, you didn't say if the engine seized or got real hot. A low oil pressure problem should have triggered a warning light before the problem got to the point where you lost the engine.

If the car ran after you added the oil, you got lucky and need to always check it.

Car just had an oil change and the check engine light came on car will not go over 40 mph

The engine management system has detected a serious fault and to protect your engine from damage has put it into "limp home mode".

Whatever the actual cause is (possibly a false alarm or a faulty or disconnected sensor) the car needs to go to a garage again for a diagnostic check. Unless you have a good and up to date DIY code reader, then all you can do is to check the oil level (may have leaked or been over or under-filled). Leave the car on a level surface for at least an hour after turning the engine off: withdraw the dipstick, wipe it and reinsert and remove to get an accurate reading. You can also check to see if there are any obvious disconnected wires: perhaps the temperature gauge or oil pressure sensors were accidentally left disconnected after the oil change. Don't assume it's the oil change which caused the fault: use your vehicle maintenance guide to make other routine checks such as the coolant level. Simple checks like these may diagnose or even cure the error without needing a garage.

Why maint req´d driver in my car lit? what´s it the problem?

Maintenance required light is a reminder to change the oil. if you have had the oil changed within the last 3000 miles its likley the people that did the oil change didnt reset the light, if im not mistaken, to reset that light turn the car to the key on engine off position and hold the odometer button down until the light blinks and goes away

Oil maintenece light is on. Oil level is good. Could a clogged filter make this light go on?

This should only be indicating time for an oil change. Now, if the red, check engine light comes on, then you have an oil/engine problem.

Possibly the maintenance light wasn't reset when the last change was done. If you don't have the owners manual to check, I found a referenced method (below) to reset it through AMSOIL synthetic oil products. Good Luck

To reset Engine Oil light. Turn the ignition key to RUN with the engine off. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds. If the Change Engine Oil light is flashing, the system is reset. The light will flash for up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned off. If the light comes on again and stays on for 30 seconds at the next ignition cycle, it did not reset. You will need to reset the system again.
