Water is not spraying in dishwaher - Cars & Trucks

check hoses that run from the washer pump to windshield and also the ones that lead to the reservoir tank. Something is broken causing there to be no spray.

Get a spray bottle with soap water and spray on lines while running,where it bubbles is where the leak is,use a rag to wipe water up right after you spray.

i have a 03 outlander, went i turn the engine on, my wiper turn on and they star to spray water too. or if i turn my a/c, it turn the wiper on and they spray water and the light come on too.

Is the water pump working? If it is, there is a clog in the system. If it's not, just replace it.

I assume you mean that the engine was sprayed with water. Try spraying the spark plug lead wires with WD40 or silicone spray. This should displace any water & allow engine to start! Good luck!

you dont have to dismantle anything.simply get a thin sowing needle and put the pointed end into the small hole in the middle of the spray jet keep trying until until it clears;the little ball jet will move; again useing the needle move the ball back to point at screen ,hope this solves your problem.adrian

i've actually had this issue with one of my cars. there are tiny spray nossles, that can pivot, from which the water shoots out of to hit the windshield. you need to find something slim and sharp like a bobby pin and place the tip into the exit hole where the water shoots out. gently pivot the nossle towards the area where you want the water to hit the wind shield. be careful not to push the pin too much into the nossle. you may warp the nossle tip and the water my spray out in an undesireable fashion.

And you have water in your wiper reservoir?

Do you hear the motor whine to pump water?

If the above are true, the jets are likely blocked.

could be a bad gasket or a bad water pump.If the gasket isn't sealed properly you with spray out water.It is possible to get a bad water pump,but not likely.Check the gasket first.
