Question about 1993 Nissan Quest

1 Answer

Any idea where I can find two front electric replacement seats for my 1993 Nissan Quest? I live in Merritt Island Florida. The leather seats are worn beyond repair and it would cost over $400. each to recover. I don't even know where to begin. Thank you so much.

We have LKQ auto salvage yards here in Orlando Florida where you can pull the parts you need of their large inventory of cars, I have seen nice leather interiors there, but timing is everything because someone else maybe looking for the same part and pull it before you get there. They also are linked to other salvage yards via enternet and can locate your parts for you for additional fees, good luck.

Ere is no safe way of repairing a seat belt mechanism. You'll have to replace them. If you're referring to the latch, age sure there is no dirt or debris stuck inside.

My 2004 Nissan Quest SE has 92,000 miles. Car feels like it is about to stall when standing at traffic light. Took vehicle to Tire Kingdom and requested tune up estimate, was told it would cost around...

If I got $ 800.00 every time I replaced spark plugs and plug wires I would be living on a tropical island !
The almost stalling may not even be about spark plugs, which by the way are about $6.50 at any auto parts store.
I would think you should have a check engine light coming on in the dash, or at least have someone plug a scan tool in to retrieve any codes.
Find a reliable auto center, and have them take a look.
Please let me know what you find.

Where can i purchase front leather seats to replace old ones for 1998 ford explorer

Try a wrecking yard. We just got a rear leather split bench seat from a '98 Explorer for $75 (no rips) and two front buckets for $150. They are in very good condition. They'll be much higher anywhere else. They have the same bolt pattern as a 1993, as that's what we're putting them in.

Need to remove backseat

You can not remove the far back seat, only the middle one. But you can slide it all the way foward. I have had my van for two years and just learned how to do it today from my husband. Below the rear are two levers. A and B. Make sure the back of the seat is in the upright position and then pull on Levee A. At the same time, lift of the bottom of the seat. It will go up and fold together making a V with the back of the seat. Then pull lever B and slide seat forward.
