PROBLEMS
abs light stays on, head lights will not go off have to manually turn them off. electric doors locks quits working automatically, reverse lights stay on then go off while you are driving, odometer reads in kilometers.

OCCASIONALLY all these problems do not exist and then shut off engine and turn engine on these problems come back.
We have had this vehicle at the dealership and paid close to $4000.00 and still having the problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Replace all the relays (relatively cheap) for all the circuits you are having problems with. There are at least two places the relays are located. on the main fuse panel and on a fuse box in the engine compartment.

After you have replaced them... unhook the battery for about ten minutes to reset the computer.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

I have a 2004 Chevy Impala and have a few issues. 1) While going down road, 'Door Ajar' light comes on, then it sounds like someone is hitting the door locks. Then the 'Door Ajar' light goes out and don't...

your pin switch on the door frame ,may have dirt or rust held on with small screw remove the screw and lift out the pin switch try clean it first.

I have a 2004 Chevy impala an the door ajar stays on an the dome light will not go off why.

Sounds like a bad door switch, sometimes you can spray brake or electrical cleaners in the door switch (part of the door latch) and the switch will start working again otherwise the switch will have to be replaced

Chevy Cavalier 2003 Electric problem

I suggest that you have your car checked by an electrician. I can solve that problem if I can get my hands dirty with your car. But we are probably miles away. hehe. There are probably loose wires or disconnected wires or shorted wires. I can't really tell until I see your car personally. Just have your car checked.

Have you checked the back bulb(s)? If so it must be a door switch problem, check if power is reaching the lights and if not do you have power at the door switch if you do its the door switch if not its a fuse. This should Fixya.

Please remember to rate this solution.
