Price of installing new clutch in 1998 BMW 328i

The clutch in my 1998 BMW 328is is slipping. Can it be adjusted? If not, what does a new clutch installation typically cost?

Clutch seems to be slipping. Engine revs when I accelerate -- doesn't seem to catch, and the car has no power. Eventually the engine seems to engage and the car drives fine until I need to pick up speed at which point the same problem repeats.
If my clutch does need to be replaced, what can I typically expect the repair to cost?

Hello

These cars have auto adjustment, so if it's slipping it means a new one is needed. A new one can be between £200 to £450 depending on where you go and if you use original or replacement parts.

DON'T THINK CLUTCH CAN BE ADJUSTED ON THESE I WOULD THINK REPLACING CLUTCH ON THESE ARE BETWEEN £300-£400 AT A GARAGE.

P0340 fault code

Assuming you have a 1996 328i convertible based on your photo as there were no US 96 328is.
It is located at the left front end of the the engine cylinder head under the plastic cover behind the VANOS solenoid next to the top of the oil filter housing. In addition to the new sensor, you will need new metal o-rings for the VANOS line, a new rubber o-ring for the camshaft sensor and perhaps a new socket head cap screw if you round out the internal hex trying to loosen this Loctited screw.
See Figures 1 & 3 at the following Pelican Parts link.

1998 bmw 328i input time light is on

You need to set the clock. Press and hold the "Clock" button then use the 1,10,100,1000 buttons to change the time. When you're done press the "set" button.

These instructions are for a 93 but the process should be similar for your version.

1999 328is clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor. Is this a problem?

As long as there is pressure than yes. Otherwise bleed the system and make sure the fluid is full. You can adjust linkage if needed.
