Im not sure what motor you have, but the best way, usually, to find the coolant sensor is to trace out the upper radiator hose to the thermostat housing. Once you find this, look around for a two or possibly three wire electrical connector in close proximity to the thermostat housing.

If you can clarify which motor your have I may be able to find something more specific.

I could not find a good picture of where it is at, but I did confirm that if you follow the upper radiator hose to the engine, that will be the thermostat housing. If you look down and to the right some on the side of that thermostat housing you will see a brass looking thing sticking out of the housing with a connector on it. That is the coolant temperature sensor.

The monte carlo does not have a inertia switch you have a relay that would need to be changed out which is located under the hood of the vehicle.

1995 Monte carlo both fans don't work and it runs hot help put new thermostat in and fan motor now what

Try unplugging the coolant temperature sensor and see if the fans come on.If they do then the coolant temp sensor needs to replaced. The sensor is located in the intake manifold by the upper radiator hose. Here is a link to provide a general location http://www.greatautohelp.com/sensor-location/3400.html

Setting valve timing on dohc 3.4 chev z34 95 model year

There should be a notch or something on both the cam gear and crank gear. Make sure that you have them lined up (preferably up), so the engine is at TDC.

If you were looking for how to set the ignition timing, that is all computer controlled and there really is no distributor to twist. All coil pack ignition modules.

Looking for speedometer sencor location on a 95

It should be mounted in the transmission housing itself, near the output shaft, or possibly half way up a cable coming from the transmission.
