Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 2500
2004 2500 dodge ram diesel 4x4. Driving along running great all of a sudden it misses or hesitates. sometimes once sometimes 5 times in a row. Had the low pressure fuel pump replaced. Had the crank shaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor changed but still does it. Sometimes it wont do it for days and other times it does it 50 times in a 200 mile trip. Truck has 78000 miles..thanks for any help in advance. Also the dealer has no clue
I have the same truck and same issue. it also seems like its "hunting" for the correct speed when the cruise is set about 70, it goes from 68 to 72 and back and forth. I have a good FAAS pump on it so Im getting pressure and volume to at least the lift pump. I heard there is a speed sensor or something on the engine that helps monitor the fuel flow or something, but I cant find anything on it. If you come up with something good, please let me know. Thanks, Steve
