Have you replaced the IAC valve, if not you need to check it to make sure it is not defective, also you may have a vacuum leak in the intake system

I have a '92 Accord that when warm will rev up and down when in park but seems to run fine in gear. What will cause this and how do I fix it?

Idle control valve can cause this or any number of things like an O2 sensor or throttle position sensor.

1992 Honda Accord wont start when cold out Fires but wont stay running

this could possibly be an iac or idle air control valve issue. the iac valve controls the amount of air that bypasses the throttle body in order to maintain proper idle, and is mounted on or very near the throttle body on the intake manifold. check the connector to ensure it's tight and the connections are clean, not corroded. i'd recommend replacing the iac valve.

I have a 92 honda accord ex that the it idles go

If it does that when the engine is warmed up (full operating temp.) it may be you iac valve, or your fast idle valve. They get gummed up. It also could be your PVC valve, but probably not.:

IAC in red. Fast Idle in yellow. Your PVC valve is plugged into the valve cover (the black hose in between the red and yellow in the picture) it simply pulls out. It should rattle when shaken.
Hope this gives you a start on the problem.

I have a 1992 honda accord. Replace main relay, alternator, battery, ignition switch. This car will shut down will at a stop sign or parking. Any ideas? I have noticed a leak from the radiator.

the radiator should be unrelated to this problem, unless you're so severely overheating the car that it's stalling (this is unlikely). there are many possibilities here, but it sounds like this is happening during idling conditions which tells me there may be a problem in the IAC (Idle Air Control) circuit. The IAC valve manages how much air gets into the engine while it is idling and if the valve is malfunctioning or if the air passages it uses are clogged w/ carbon deposits, it could create the problem you're having

IDLING PROBLEMS ON 1992 ACCORD EX

Have the Idle Control Solenoid Valve cleaned up.

Or it might be defective. See steps below to check...
  1. Disconnect idle control solenoid valve electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect upper hose to solenoid valve from manifold and apply vacuum to hose. Valve should hold vacuum.
  3. Continue applying vacuum to hose and briefly energize valve by connecting battery positive terminal to the black/yellow wire terminal and negative battery terminal to the green/black wire terminal. Valve should not hold vacuum when energized.
  4. If idle control solenoid valve fails to perform as outlined, valve is defective.

92 honda accord

is it the temperature control knob or the fan speed knob? the temperature control knob is hooked to a cable that operates a valve in the engine compartment. sounds like this is your trouble area...you can open the hood and locate the heater control valve near the firewall...have someone turn the knob to see if the valve lever opens/closes. if it does it is bad. if it does not move there is a problem in the dashboard behind the heater control unit.
