You need to check your fuel injectors as they are stuck on.

You may have the number 6 injector wiring gounded somewhere. The injector gets power all of the time; the PCM "pulses" a ground to the injector to make it inject. A grounded wire will energize the injector, keeping it "open"...There is only other possible reason for the cylinder to fill up with fuel, is if the injector is mechanically seized "on", and allowing fuel to flow.
There are NO other reasons for this condition.

I would still look for a grounded wire, or a wiring harness that may have been damaged by rodents. I have observed this condition quite often.

2001 Dakota compression loss, smells like gas, white smoke from exhaust

Sorry but this has happened to me before, you might have a blown head gasket. that is where oil and or water are getting in to the piston cylinder and causing the white smoke cause the oil and water is being burnt or boiled.take it to a shop unless you have all the right tools and knowledge to do this job. i cost me like $1500 labor and parts.

2001 isuzu trooper code 1340

Hello,
A 1340 error code for your Isuzu Trooper means that the engine is experiencing a "Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction" which would mean the computer isn't exactly sure where the camshaft is located in it's rotation. If the issue is intermittent then look for a broken wire, if it's solid then the sensor needs replacing!
Good Luck & please rate this solution!

If you changed and the injector and the coil and does not work change the spark that cylinder and see if comes to that coil voltage (positive and negative) and is less negative than if the PCM does not work that coil. Thanks good luck and opinions please

The upper intake gaskets may be leaking. They are made of plastic and metal and will leak air. Do not remove the cover on very top of manifold when changing.
