Door locks

Hi. This can be difficult to trace this issue. Has the door lock been replaced. Is there any aftermarket sytems fitted that activate it?

Doors wont lock when you turn on ignition. And the radio doesn't stay on when you turn the ignition off.

Your radio is connected to ignition instead of accesories. Not all car locking sytems lock doors with ignition. Check with the supplier if known or with nistallers.

Check engine and abs light on no speedometer

First you need to retreive trouble codes from the computer.Let me know what they are.You can take your truck to your local autoparts store (advance auto, autozone, ect) and they can retreive the codes for you.

Security light comes on when crankig vehicle

this means the securoty sytem is locking you out .your keys have chips in them that emit a signal to the cars security sytem.if you are using an incorrect, damaged or unregistered key to the vehicle this will occur.best bets are dealer or a lock smith service that has the equipment required to register these keys to your vehicle.

ABS light show problem free Solution

Hi:
The ABS light is telling you that your Anti Lock Brake sytem is not working, due to a malfunction. Usually this is caused by a wheel speed sensor, but you need to download your car's codes to find out for sure. Most auto parts stores will do this for you free of charge.
You will still have your normal braking system, but it should be a good idea to check your brake fluid level to make sure you have no leaks.

Hi my a 160 starts then stops after about 10 seconds in this time it is unresponsive to the throttle have replaced key fob batteries although the lights flash the central locking doesnt work Cheers

Is it an aftermarket alarm/starting system? If so it may be burnt out. Without the right bosch relays to hold the locks down for 3 seconds the sytem will burn out trying to lock and unlock due to the air pump sytem. They might have also messed with the stock alarm system if you have it on your model which would compound the problem. If the car starts at all I would look at replacing the coil and coil wires as they are some of the biggest contributors to poorly running MB's. Then I would check the fuel pressure, maybe replace the fuel filter and check valve as they can keep fuel pressure low. After that might be a bad ignition switch which I doubt but anything is possible. If you also have an aftermarket radio it is tied into the stock alarm and that may not help your issues either. Hope I have given you a good place to start.

2004 Honda Accord touch screen will not accept code numbers

DOES SYSTEM INTAKE CODE YOU TYPE AND RETURN WITH ERROR MESSAGE OR JUST PLAIN HAS LOCKED SCREEN? SYSTEM IS DESIGNED SO THAT IF INCORRECT CODE IS INPUT MORE THAN THREE TIMES SYTEM LOCKS ITSELF.WHICH REQUIRES THAN THE NAVI UNIT BE UNPLUGGED FROM BATTERY POWER FOR ABOUT 5-10 MINS TO RESET ITSELF.NOW INCORRECT CODE CAN BE DUE TO WRONG CODE/SERIAL # CARD FOR VEHICLE, UNIT HAS BEEN REPLACED IN PAST POSSIBLY AND YOU ARE INPUTING CODE FROM OLD UNIT UNKNOWINGLY. YOU ALSO WANT TO MAKE SURE CODE YOU ARE TRYING TO INPUT IS FOR NAVI-SYSTEM AND NOT THE RADIO CODE FOR THE STEREO. IF ALL ABOVE CHECKS OK THEN NEXT STEP WOULD BE TO REMOVE UNIT TO RETRIEVE SERIAL NUMBER FROM BACK OF NAVI UNIT THEN GO TO NEAREST DEALARSHIP WHO CAN THAN RUN S/N THROUGH HONDA IN SYSTEM AND RETRIEVE CORRECT CODE FOR THAN SERIAL NUMBER. LET ME KNOW HOW IT GO'S
