Replaced 30 amp fuse under seat checked all others related to system, replaced blower module under center console and new blower fan under pass side still no air climate controls seem to function before it would come on and off now nothing unless moving, a/c compressor cools and works.
It would be unlikely that a heater core - a/c blower would be running or supposed to run a 30amp fuse, a 10 amp would be sufficient for that curcuit, or it could overheat the wiring in a fault.
Trace the wiring back, check for power from the fuse and trace it down to the fan, to check the fan run power into it and see if it operates.
Check the fan resistor.

This is defenetly the BCM, I had a 1990 with all of the same problems. Buy a rebuilt and install it behind the clove box. Remember that you must install you memory prom into the new unit as they don't come with any in them (it is what is memorizing your miles driven.) You will get off pretty easy on this one as they are available and not too expensive.

I would recommend a salvage yard to get a good used one alot cheaper also try this place they carry only GM parts: Schram Auto and truck parts 1-800-292-1032 and also explain to them the problem you are having and these guys can assist you in getting the right part

The problem may be a faulty blower motor behind the heather core, or a problem with wirings.
SOURCE: '96 cadillac deville has no air.cond./heat
Unfortunately for you ( i had the same problem) The A/C compressor HAS to be in working order on these cars or else all heck breaks out with the climate control.
If it's a nice car, get a new compressor installed. If it's borderline- get rid of the car.
I paid 2200 to Cadillac to fix the A/C and climate control only to have the transmission fail in my '93.
I dumped the car soon thereafter....
SOURCE: 2003 escalade rear climate control no heat just cold air.
there are two separate actuators for the rear system. one controls temperature and the other controls vents from head to feet. mine problem was the later. that acutuator for esv 2003 is 89018365. it is located just below third seat cup holder passenger side and can be replaced simply by removing cup holder. triangular shaped part with wire harness.
