Question about 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Basicly instructions on fitting a replacement one
Look at the new one real close and you will see the locking device that has to be pulled down and turned. It is locked in place so the ormanent will fit through the hole. Just remove whats left of the old one. Push new one through the hole and hold in in place from the top while turning locking piece under hood with pliers 1/4 turn. The locking piece is spring loaded so you will have to pull down and turn. That's it.
