Ford 2008 F-350 remote starts great in warm weather will not start in cold. all lights glow plugs ect working just wont start truck and only if 35 degrees and below.

Since batteries lose almost half their cranking power at freezing, and since diesels require much higher fuel temps to start than gasoline engines, many recommend using a block heater whenever the temperature is under 35-40 degrees if starting becomes a problem.

2000 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0 Vapor Locking?

maybe what you have is not vapour lock as such but a vacuum forming in the tank and not allowing the fuel to be pumped to the injectors. I would be checking the canister and canister controls to ensure adequate venting. I f the fuel tank has been continuously filled to the filler neck then fuel can contaminate the canister and not allow it to work properly. In short I would be looking for reasons in that area Run fault code check and see if any fuel related problems are presented.

Car lags and jerks at 3000 RPM

Have the fault codes read. Replace faulty items. Use only genuine items as replacement as non-genuine are not always compatible with the OEM fitted CPU units. This results in the fault codes not cancelling out You may need to have the cpu reset using a code reader tool from disconnecting the battery.

2001 T&C engine flooded why did I go thru 1/4 tank of gas

Pumping the gas pedal and turning the key on and off would not have any affect on the problem. And the fuel pump runs as long as you are cranking the engine, the fuel pressure regulator allows the extra pressure back into the tank.
The excess fuel came thru the injectors or the pressure regulator and probably would have even if you had just turned the key and nothing else.
The injectors are turned on by the computer based on several things including coolant temp and air temp. The fuel mixture should have been very rich if the air temp was 35 below zero, but it should have leaned out once the engine warmed up. The longer you crank an engine in any weather and it does not start, the more fuel is dumped into the cylinders.
Its possible you had one or more injectors that were stuck - froze open when you first cranked the engine.
I hope you did not damage the catalytic converter or the O2 sensors.
