Question about 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier
I have a 2005 chevy cavalier. the engine will not crank, the battery, alternator and starter are all good. We have check the fuses too. Please help.!!!!
You say your motor will not crank, meaning it's not turning over at all? if that's the case your should hear a ''clicking'' noise when you try to start it idicating that your ''solinoid'' on the starter motor is defective. it pushes the bendix assembly witch pushes the starter gear into the flywheel of the engine making it ''crank'' over so it can run. that was my problem last year & it worked fine after that. this is for a 2.2 lt ecotec engine 2005. remove starter motor to check with 12 VLT battery to see if it kicks out or not. hope this helps.
