The car cranks but it wont start!! the only code it gave me was C1555 wuth my generic scantool!! i'd like to know the meaning of this code!! im guessing is an immobilizer related code, I hope not!!!
Crank position sensor failure is likely. No pulse from this sensor, and the ECU will not switch on the fuel pump, so no gas and no go. Cheap part to replace. THEY DO FAIL WITH AGE. If the car has done a high mileage. Replace it. Age due to constant heat exposure kills them.

USE A REAL SCAN TOO TO GET REAL OBD2 SCAN DTC ERROR CODES.
IF IN USA THIS IS SOP, STANDARD TOOLS HERE.
NO COUNTRY TOLD AT ALL.
HERE IS OUR SECRET LIST OF CARS IN COMPLIANCE.
IN EUROPE IT CALLED OBDE
The ECU wasn't bad. The power steering unit is. The ECU compensated for the bad unit, until it wouldn't take it anymore. Replace the steering unit under the dash. Just a note though. I would do a wiring diagnostic first, to make sure all the wires are good.
There is 2 system in O2 sensor one is the sensor itself
and the other one is the heater
the code you have means the heater is not working look for the fuse or find out why heater is not working
don't put any anti seize lubricant on O2 sensor no ground for heater
hope it help
Sounds like a crank sensor to me. I believe this will be found just below your bottom pulley [ crank pulley] . This is responsible for getting power to the coil. These are sometimes hard to get out . I just broke it off and used a socket. I don\'t know how you can test this sensor unless you have a wire test kit. I am not positive on this, but I\'m pretty sure. It sure sounds like it. Let me know how you make out.
What I found on the internet was that P1320 is a transistor in the ignition coil, that turns on the primary side of coil
Maybe a 1320 is similar to a Generic PO303 eg: coil #3 middle plug firewall side
You can put the P1320 into the computer & continue on for the answer
Maybe a bad #3 cylinder coil, if the code actually is accurate. On my Lincoln, even professional scan tool software, isn't always of any use, sometimes, because of coils not grounding properly & coming back on the TPS Sensors
P0700 means transmission control fault detected, either it is mechanical or electrical. This code is a generic code, you will need a enhanced code that mean a manufacture scantool or a scan tool that can read enhance code.
You will need to have the the ECU scanned at Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts, unless you have an OBDII Scantool. Let me know the codes and I will tell you what they mean.
