Question about 1988 Jeep Wrangler

1988 jeep wrangler 6cylinder,5 speed trans, no a/c

Jeep cuts out after running for about 15 or 20 minutes.I,ve replaced wires,plugs,cap and rotor,and coil.It still cuts out at any rpm,anymph,any weather etc. Ant suggestions?

Did you check the fuel filter? Did you check pump pressure? A faulty pump or a partially plugged filter can do this. Obviously filter is the first thing... it's easy to do and is often neglected, likely overdue for service anyhow! There are other things that can also cause your problem but I'd look at the common stuff first!

It does sound like a vacuum leak. Get a can of WD-40 and start spraying around the carb. It will rev up, and U can pin point the loose vacuum hose, are crack vacuum hose.

I have a 1988 jeep wrangler that seems to have developped a problem of cutting out after running for 15 or 20 minutes.this problem happens at random times,any rpm,any mph,any weather,etc..I,ve changed...

im not sure if it is your problem but i would try replacing your throttle position sensor on the throttle body. it has a simple two wire conector and two torx bolts. mine was cutting out and stalling and sputtering and that was my fix

could be the cap and rotor or the pick up in the distributor
