I have the same problem: My 1993 Toyota Supra NA factory radio went bad. I had to remove dashboard cables. I had the negative battery lead disconnected. The SRS lamp now will not go out. It is on steady. I tried removing battery (-) cable for 30 minutes. Still not successfull.

If there is a problem with the air bag or the sensors, it is impossible to turn off the light. HAve you removed anything, is it all stock? Has it been in any collisions? I need more info to help you.

Have a look on the mkiv.com web site (tech article page) step by step how to solve this issue. I have done this before and it takes a few attempts.

Check the wiring on the starter and alternator are in correct position, if fine than try to put the positive first, than switch on lights and try to put the negative on as second, if there is a problem with the electrical harness than you need a car electrician to have a look at it.

Lights on the AC/HTR buttons do not light

the globes need to be relaced. to remove the dash, pull out the ashtray, unclick the plastic arround the gear stick, then unscrew the top section above the instrument clustor and unplug the cable loom, next pull out the section arround the instrument cluster ( try not to break it) now the fun part, unscrew the disconnect the main section and remove. good luck, and be patient otherwise you will break the plastic clips. when its all back together and working, the air bag light may be on, go to mkiv.com (tech article page) and follow the steps.

Trouble light

Hi. There,
ON your honda accord.
the Srs light come when the computer detect a problem with the system, but never go off until you fix the problem and reset the computer,
When the light is on, yhe SRS or air bags are deactivated if you have an accident the air bags don't will deploy and you don't gonna be protected.
Check when the light come on or if you have idea why com on.

If you know a little of cars or mechanic work.
You can read the codes on your car, using Self diagnostic yellow connector behind the instrument panel fuse box. reading the blinking of the SRS light.

If you can do letme know i can give the step to do...

I hope this information will good for you.

Thanks for using fixya.
