Question about 2001 Chevrolet Suburban
These pumps are so sensitive that a 1psi difference can make a difference whether the vehicle starts or not. Try changing the filter first. then try spraying carb. cleaner in the intake (not starting fluid). If it starts it is probably your pump.

Hook a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail under the hood. Fuel tank will have to be removed to replace the fuel pump.
