Should be able to loop the belt around the fan before you install this.

SOURCE: 1996 timing belt changed, lined up all the marks,

Hi my name is juan and lets try to solve this it is possible that when you rotated the camshaft the distributor last his position and this is why it won't start it may not be the problem but this happens a lot so open your distributor and aline up your marks on camshaft and the crankshaft then make sure the distributor is pointing near the #1 spark plug if is opposite give it a 1 more turn to the crankshaft line up your marks again and se what happens #1 spark plug is the closets to the front part of the engine on 4cil

SOURCE: how to put on ignition switch on a '88 mazda b2200

If you mean actually replacing the ignition switch on the vehicle with a locking column. You need to do this. Dicconnect the battery, remove the lower panel of the dash if there is any. There is a bolt on the steering column near the fire wall on most vehicles, remove this bolt, it will release the spline on the steering column. Disconnect all wiring going to the column, unbolt the column from the dash support. Remove the column from the truck, on the ignition switch you will see where the two shear bolts screw the assembly together, center punch the center of each bolt. Now drill the bolt with a 1/8" drill about 1/4" to 3/8" deep. Now use a 3/8" drill and drill out the shear head until it comes off the bolt. You can now remove the switch assembly from the column. The new assembly should come with new shear off bolts so when you bolt it in place when tightned they will break off rendering it tamperproof again. Most vehicles are designed like this now to stop theft. Check the column for operation before reinstalling it in the reverse of above. You just want to make sure the key locks and unlocks the column before reinstalling in the vehicle. You may want to do this before you totally tighten the bolts and break them off permanently. Good luck, RAC

SOURCE: mazda engine bad

yes, i believe you could put any engine on your pick-up provided it is the rear wheel type set-up and the engine comes with its own tranny. problem is, if changing the engine mounts, tranny mounts, wiring set-up and exhaust system layout would not be of any problem to you. might as well look for the same mazda engine you have as a replacement to ease installation.

Hi people, please does anyone know where I can find an adaptor or base plate to fit a 32/36 Weber onto my 1998 Accent 1.3 and is it true that the Mazda B2200 adaptor would work?

Isn't your Hyundai Accent 1.3 fuel injected?

87 mazda b2200 turns over no start. is gettin fuel and i see the spark on the plug working. what am i missin?

the only other things are compression and timing, and incorrect cam timing can cause low or no compression. Is the timing belt moving, is the camshaft turning? I will bet your trouble is the timing belt.

Timing instructions

the timming should be set @ 6BTC you will need a timming light to check it.
You should go buy a manual from your local automotive store befor changing your timming belt
the site below will show you how to make sure you timming marks are right but it will not explain the removel or installation

.005 clearance between crankshaft and timing belt sprocket.

mazdas specs for the crank are .985 but alot of cranks are made with a tolerence of .005 so from the factory alot of cranks are .005 to big are alittle smaller but both are right alittle play wont hurt it

87 mazda b2200

if it wont hold an idle then one or more of the cylinders are probably too low or high in compression and if it's backfireing then the ignition timming could be off. I would take a compressin test of all cylenders and if they are all in range I would hook up a timming light to se if the timming is out
