SOURCE: loud noise in pipe exhaust due to humidity

did u disconnect the battery after the sensor was replaced? if not u will need to do that so a new base idle setting can be learned by the computer, it is called adaptive idle strategy.

That sounds like normal pricing for both. Not sure that You need a flex pipe unless it is rusted out and leaking.

Hyundai tucson 07 is making a loud noise. Like something hitting metal. Timing belt/tensioner has been replaced but noise still there. Any hints thankyou.

tappet adjustment, loose exhaust part, loose or worn pulley on the drive belt system, alternator bearings , low engine/gearbox oil level, very hard to pinpoint without being with vehicle but here are a few options to check out , good luck

What is causing loud muffler-like sound?

Could be a broken joint between the muffler and the exhaust pipe.
Could be a loose coupler on the exhaust pipe .

you could get it checked at an exhaust service center where they can hoist car up and look under the car and give you a report on iys cause and likely cost to fix.

I just fixed my flex pip on my hyundai accent now I have a loud exhaust noise my check engine light is on saying I have an oxygen leak but took it to a mechanic in they told me that I don't have a exhaust...

Take it to a muffler shop-that mechanic must have a tin ear. I thought my Sentra had a small exhaust leak (slightly loud exhaust noise) from a previously fixed exhaust connection. But a muffler shop guy showed me I had a rusted out catalytic converter. I would suspect your flex pipe may still be leaking.

You may want to have your catalytic converter inspected to see if the internal components are broken and possibly clogging your exhaust flow.

Clacking noise under middle of car after car has been driven for awhile and then parked.

hi this cracking noise could be something as simple as the heat shield/guard between the exhaust pipe and underbody ? it could be contracting /expanding due to heat from exhaust ? especially if stopped after high speed /long journey ? however just to put mind at ease may i suggest you pop to local w/shop and ask if they could check shield for security ? would not think they would charge just to look ? if they are not busy ? but ask in case?

Loud noise from exhaust front end ..check engine light on dash permanent display, hyundai accent gsi 2001 manual says emission problem..make appointment with dealership, can't afford at moment...I...

Start the car open the hood. with the hood open listen and smell for the leak. Probably the frt exhaust manifold leaking. Independent mechanic can repair just as easy. No need for dealer. If the leak is bad enough you will smell exhause leak. Look for the area with the greatest amount of noise.
