Hi my name is Allen!

What engine do you have?

If you have the 3.9 liter the cam sensor is the pick-up coil under the distributor cap.

you need to have it put on a scan tool to find out what is causing the no start condition.it could be the crank sensor or cam sensor.if the computer doesn`t receive a signal from either of these it will not start.you need to find out with a scan tool what is happening by looking at the readings the computer is seeing.

How to change cam positiom sensor in 2000 dodge

The cam position sensor on the 2.7 engine is on the
driver side of your engine, right in the front of the head. there's a 10mm bolt. undo the bolt and pull it straight out. push the new one into the hole, and hold pressure on it until it's bolted back in.

If you have the 3.5, the cam position sensor is located on top of the timing cover. I just unbolt the upper intake just enough to lift it up a little. unbolt the cam sensor, pull it out and install the new one keeping pressure on it until it's bolted in.

I hope this helps
