The noise is from front drivers side and seems in tune with the speed I am doing at the time. Its not apparent when idling. There does not seem to be any debris picked up from the road or leaks. It passed the MOT when the noise was not so apparent. Any solutions will be much appreciated. David

I have the same problem and it is the strut and maybe mounts (depending on how bad it is)

It appears you have a Forward Clutch FAILURE. Replace the trans after you get it diagnosed and verified by a professional technician. By the way, do you have a Check Engine light? If so, what is the diagnostic code? The dealership can scan the system and find any codes which may have been stored in the TCM (Transmission Control Module). If there were any 'Incorrect Gear Ratio" codes, it's most probably the trans itself.

the sound is your belts for the I recommend to pressure wash the area what till it drys then turn the engine on then look for the leak it would be easier to pin point a leak with a clean engine
