No the check engine light is not on. I have added several bottles of fuel injection cleaner and it would run good for a while and then start cutting off again. I have even added a couple bottles of alcohol and it ran good for a while. Do you have any other suggestions?

It's probably just a coincidence that your car started acting up after getting gas but just in case add a couple bottles of Heat or an Octane booster that cleans your fuel system out.
Is your check engine light on??
I've heard of simliar problems happening and it was the crank sensor that was bad. Go to your local parts store and see if they can scan it for fault codes, I know some around me that will do it for free.

If you run the car until it is really really low on gas and put new gas in and it keeps running funny than I would have it scanned for codes, sometimes you can have codes and it won't turn the check engine light on.

1999 Buick lesabre will drive then cut off...will cut back on drive for a few more minutes and then cut back off.

First check your fuel pressure it should be 48-55 psi with key on and engine off.Sounds like you might have a weak fuel pump.

Find the EGR valve on the intake and locate the vacuum hose that is connected to it. Start the engine cold and as it warms up, pull the hose off and if it idles and drives fine, the EGR valve is bad and needs to be replaced. Please rate me on this answer.

93 lesabre - starts right up but cuts off when you take your foot off the accelerator.

check your map sensor as well as the range on your tps/ throttle postion sensor and your throttle body gaskets sometimes that engine will get a air leak that corrupts the vacumn necessary to operate the fuel rail which in turn will shut the fuel off at a idle

My 2000 Buick lesabre cuts off while driving

Your fuel pump might be going bad. The reason why it cuts off is the fuel pump is pumping just enough to run it for a x amount of time that's why it shuts off but while it's off the pump is pumping fuel into the lines. If it's not the fuel pump then it might be your injectors.
