Heated Seats I just got into my jeep this morning & the heated seats did not heat up? As a matter of fact I can't even see where the ppower is on, I looked in my owner's manual & it says nothing about it. It has never done this before I checked the fuse box it says seat/? but I think that is for my power seats it was not blown, is there another fuse I should be checking? If so which one is it???????????

Like most of the high power items in a modern vehicle, the place you need to look for the fuse is going to be in the relay box under the hood. It should be a 30+ amp fuse and/ or relay on top of the drivers side wheel well. they usually are labeled for what they go to.

Where is the fuse for the heated seats in a 2007 jeep grand cherokee laredo?

Remove the ignition key. Unplug the HSM (heated seat module). It is under the passenger seat. You can easily accomplish this with the seat all the way back. Wait a few seconds they plug it back in. Start the engine. Turn the seats on. If the indicator lights come on for 2 seconds and then go out, further diagnostics is required. Hopefully they'll stay on and the seats will be working fine.

Thanks,
Ron

I'm not sure how to turn heated seats on in my 2002 gmc envoy.... do i even have heated seats.

If your vehicle is equipped with heated seat, there should be a control button on the door where the window buttons are.

Power seats work, lights come on for the heated seats, but the seats do not heat

My jeep has the same problem. SO i looked on the recall page and just found out that there was a recall on the 2002 jeep G.C. heat seats, they can over heat and eventually just stop working. Just go on the site and print of the page, take it into a chrysler dealership and they will fix it for free!!!

Heated seats do not work

First off, I would contact your local Jeep dealer and have them run your VIN # to check for any recalls. The 1999-2004 Grand Cherokees had a recall on the seat heaters. If your vehicle doesn't fall into the VIN # range then either your seat heater switch has gone out, or you have a broken element in the seat heater. I have replaced more seat heaters than switchsm the elements heat up and break. Hope this helps out.

Best of luck

Heated seats are not working but light is on

Sounds like the same problem I had. I brought it to the Jeep dealer and they told me that the heating element in the seat stopped working. They told me that the only way to repair was to take the seat apart and replace the heating element in the seat. Of course they will charge you the standard $80 to tell you this. and then quote you $500 plus to repair. I can't even remember how much, I have decided it was not worth it.
