BRAKE FLUID, JUST RUB IT ON WITH A RAG. IT ALSO REMOVES THE OXIDATION AND IS CHEAPER.

All you need to do is go to a pro auto paint store and pick up some "rubbing compound" it's like a wax. You "waxon" - "waxoff" with a circular motion. It will remove the oxidation off of your plastic light cover. No need to remove.
