Fuse box schematic

lost the glove box users guide after 41 years? sure.
no problem told at all , some cars have fuses not in the box.
the left side drivers kick panel box>? that? or?
some are fuses, and others are CB , circuit breakers. some are fuseable links, one is below. or CB
eg:
Headlight and High Beam-one 22 amp circuit breaker incorporated in the lighting switch.
the drivers box is marked at each fuse. or seen just left of steering column under a cover.

#6 headlamps.
#3 turns and backup lamps
#5 hazards and stops
CB 20amp power seats and CB20 to door locks.
fuselink to IGNition switch
fuse link into and out of AMMETER GAUGE and to alternator
replacing alternator and not pulling battery cables first blows up the fuselink just above. (see schematics its all there)

a few things blown fuse--relay--shorted wire

the fuse boxes are 1 in cab and 1 in the engine bay
the A/C has 2 blowers,
one in the front of car, condensor blower.
and one in the heater cab blower.
both have fuses.
why is only a matter of using the schematic and a voltmeter
to see where the voltage fails.

does the A/C work at all
does the heater fan work?
need full evidence to go to exact cause. easy

fuses are in the operators guide.
the glove box guide is free at all honda dealers and is online.
get one and keep it in the car,,, "safety"
the tests for A/C start at the fuses.
the blower , must blow.
then is the compression clutch engaged or not.
post back the clutch status and we can work thru the 100 pages
in the FSM.

as you can see the PCM decides when the clutch is active
but there are 6 ways, for it to decide, not to run AC/

on the 99 there is a cab themostat , (hark) that can stop AC
and so cant he freon hi/low switch, do not bypass this device !!

if the out door temp drops below 37F it cuts AC.
if the engine overheats, cuts AC
if the engine is overloaded, it cuts AC (see OBD2 scans for load factor (hills)
if the evap core freezes , most AC cut.
low freon. cut
too high? cut.

These are what a tech calls, AC permissives.
if the clutch is dead, we are all over them.

car that old, that part will have to be purchased used from a junkyard or eBay. so look on eBay or call around to junkyards and ask them if they have one which will interchange with yours and how much it costs to remove it and sell it to you.

Are wanting a "schematic" (wiring diagram) ? or a diagram of the fuse box? (Your question is a little confusing) If you are wanting a diagram of the fuse box, all I can say is "good luck". Those were not even available back in 1979...you'll really have trouble finding one 32 years later! The fuse box should be marked which fuse is which anyway...that's the way they did it back then.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a wiring diagram, you can possibly find one if you contact the sales department at AllData.com Their DIY information available online only goes back to 1982. Howerver, they also have "vintage model support" for professional AllData subscribers. I have gotten wiring diagrams from them in the past dating all the way back to the 1960's. You might check with them to see if there is a way they can get you the information you need without having to sign up with a professional contract.

I believe the relay for that is under the hood built into on box where all the relays are, that box usually goes bad and must replace the entire box. all it has is multiple wires going into it. Usually is located near the radiator.

Look in the main fuse box. (There are two fuse boxes, one under the hood and the other is under the dash. Or sometimes inside the glovebox.) Look for the the fuse marked HTR or HTR/AC.

You can go to your local ford dealer and they will print you a picture of the fuse locations.

The fuse for the radio/CD/DVD is seperate from the AC/Heat. Open fuse box under hood on right. follow fuse schematic to ac fuse position (note there are two so if not one, then it is the other) use the fuse puller that is in the fuse box, then replace the fuse. Good luck.
