Question about 1990 Honda Accord
Manual transmission. Car starts but does not shift. At first 4th gear didn't work then reverse so my hubby drove this car for 1 month without reverse then it stopped shifting all together. The shifter physically does not shift. Bought this car for 700 dollars about a year ago. It was a good reliable car until this happened. Is this worth of fixing or should I junk it? I am willing to spend up to 400-500 dollars to fix this baby. Let me know. Thank you.
Try putting it into second gear WITHOUT engine running with clutch in and handbrake on then let clutch out slow still with handbrake on if you can let clutch out fully and car is not trying to move its your clutch remember keep handbrake on at all times, if it trys to move its possable your gearbox
