You did not post the year make and model but you should check all the fuses, what you are describing is a BCM (body control module) issue and it may or may not be related to fuses.
The fuse is located in the instrument panel fuse block at the driver's side. To gain access to the fuses, pop open the storage compartment by pulling the door towards you. Here is a diagram to help you locate the fuse box: https://www.autogenius.info/chevrolet-tahoe-2004-fuse-box-diagram/
Sounds like you either could have popped some fuses, OR you could have even fried the computer. Let's hope you just popped some fuses tho, Hope this helps, James Booth
open the truck and look behind the carpeting where the tailight is connected inside the truck. there should be a rubber circle piece with wires connected to it. grip the whole rubber piece and twist counter clockwise till it pops out. replace the bulb
could be faulty compressor which pumps up the suspension,is it leaking from anywhere, causing the pump to work too hard, has it just packed up,check fuses but probably compressor
I have a 2004 Silverado with the same problem.
After scrollng the internet for months and reading every manual I could get my hands on, I found, for me, a quick and easy way. Open the hood, remove the cover to the Underhood Fuse Block on the drivers side of the vehicle near the battery.
If you have the manual for your truck, go to page 5-126 and locate the fuse that says IPC/DIC, it is a 10 amp fuse.
Pull the fuse and start your truck or a few sceonds.
You will notice that nothing on your insterment will work.
Turn engine off and replace fuse.
After I did this, the message did not come back, and started my truck about 15 times to make sure.
It worked for me....good luck to you.
