It only means that your elecrical system on your running light was grounded thats why everytime you switch on the running light the fuse blown. The only solution to that is to find out where the line was shorted or grounded. you must start tracing it from your switch going down the elecrical line going to the fuse, relay and lights.
That's it, good luck then.!!!

SOURCE: Rear lights do not work, bulbs ok, fuse ok

You  probably have a frayed wire touching something metal (short to ground) check your wiring, check your grounds.

SOURCE: instr. panel and running lights fuse blow when headlights turn on

Do yourself a favor before taking to a dealer. Open the hood and find the fuse box. It will be on the firewall on the drivers side. Open it and fine the low beam relay. Finding it is easy. If you open your owners manual and look up relay in the index in the back of the manual there will be a listing of the relay locations. If you dont have the manual any more. A relay is a black or grey box. There are two diffrent types. The types look like a square and one looks like a rectangle. You are looking for the rectangle. The low beam relay is in the row of rectangle relays closest to the driver's side fender. Remove the two closest to the windshield. The one closest to the windshield is for high beam. Take that one and place it where the low beam is.If that fixes it go to an auto parts store and buy a replacement relay. Then try the lights. Let me know and good luck !

SOURCE: Blows fuses when parking lights are turned on. Headlights work fine even running lights.

If it only happens when you turn the switchto the parking lights then it is most likely the swich that is the problem. Light swich failure appears to be a common fault with fords

SOURCE: Turn signals not working. All bulbs are good,no

The emergency flasher and the turn signal flasher are two separate items. You could have a defective T/S flasher.

Replased right front blinker bulb. when taking broken burnt bulb out of socket wires crossed i could smell somthing burning front bulb works now. but the rear running lights dont work and head lights

Get a multimeter check for DC voltage at the light sockets. No voltage means blown fuses. You can also use the multimeter to check the bulbs to see if they have somehow blown.

I have a blown car fuse and when replaced it blows right away

no idea without a good look but i suspect a incorrect type of bulb fitted as some have two contacts and some one and this i think could be the problem as a single pole bulb is fitted into a double pole bulb holder

Rear light and stoplight dont work

well id start simple. First check your fuse, then check your relays(under the hood). If fuses are good, check the bulbs themselves, when you take them out, look at them to see if they are still linked together(by the way, wear gloves, oil from your fingers can blow out the bulbs). If the bulbs are good, pull back the carpet in the trunk are to make sure the wires are still connected. If everthing is good, id suspect it your lighting control module.

What fuse is it for taillights and dome light 2000 ford focus

Running lights (left side): Fuse #47 -- Running lights (right side): Fuse #48 -- Brake lights: Fuse #54. Fuse panel is on the lower left side (underneath) the dashboard. NOTE: If it is your brake lights that are not working and fuse # 54 looks okay, check the brake light switch, it may have gone bad. Dome light is fuse #46 or #47 depending on model.

My 99 cavalier keeps blowing turn signal fuse

Check all turn signal bulbs, front and back, you probably have a blown bulb that is shorting the circuit. If all lights are ok, try removing them and installing one by one while circuit is energized, tif the fuse is blown on the first bulb try another location, his way you double check that the bulbs are not at fault. if it blows the fuse again, check your turn signal switch, it may be defective.

Good Luck!! Don't forget to rate this post!!

Right side low beam is out

I dont have much experience with this car, but what i can say would be check your fuses. some cars may have independent fuses for each light. Also check to make sure that all wires going to that light are fine and not cracked, shorted, melted, etc. Also make sure the bulb you put in there is the one your owners manual said to. If you put one that has too low of a rating, it may have blown. Some times bulbs just dont work like they should, and blow right away, If this is the case, exchange it for a new one. If the bulb is still fine, ignore the last two possible solutions and focus on the fuses and wires. I really hope this helps you some how and the best of luck to you.

Ford focus brake light failure !!!

1 - are you SURE theyre the right bulbs! - if theyre too bright they can blow the fuse, if theyre the wrong type of bulb they will blow the fuse.. best get the bulbs direct from ford, they are always in stock, so are the proper fuses.
2 - theres a center brakelight isnt there? check this bulb too for proper wattage and size/shape
Other than that maybe the wiring in the boot is damaged and shorting?? -----
