Question about 1996 Land Rover Discovery
The truck is running at normal temp, but it shows pegged way past the H on the cluster. why would it do this ?
There is a temp sensor under the hood. Make sure it is not hot because running it for long like this (mile or so) will destroy the motor. After replacing sensors and or gauge problem is not solved then must check actual temp of water.

It's possibly one of 2 faults either the guage itself is faulty or it could be the voltage regulator
