Question about Hyundai Motor 2002 Sonata
There is no air blowing out my heater. At first my heat wouldn't work because it had to sit in between level 3 and 4 to work . I feel that due to the cold weather it messed up my heater. I would apprecaite your feed back.
Cold weather won't usually hurt anything in your heater, it will just take longer to warm up the cabin.
the lack of heat is a sign that you're probably not getting the proper circulation in your cooling system, that is, the radiator, anti-feeze/coolant, fan, etc.
bad circulation means your anti-freeze level could be low from a leak, or a hose that popped off. or you could have a bad water pump, which is what circulates the coolant through the engine and radiator, even though we don't use water anymore.
the solution is to have someone who knows how check the thermostat, radiator, coolant level, hoses, and water pump to make sure everything is working.
be sure to address the problem soon, because if it's a coolant system problem, the more your drive, the more damage your engien will suffer.
