I suggest you use 5w 30 full synthetic oil, preferably Mobil 1. put 4 qts of oil then check the dipstick if you should need more. I also suggest that you check the dipstick after the car had not been used for couple of hour and the oil had settled at the bottom (oil pan) so you can have more accurate reading.

Hi there , just because I do not have the owner's manual I would like to know please , what kind of oil do I need for a 2003 kia rio ls ? I mention that the car has made 200000 km till now , thank you...

According to the manual a 2003 Kia Rio uses 5W30 oil.
The recommended weight is 5W30, energy conserving. Most conventional motor oils of this weight will work for this engine. Capacity is 3.6 quarts.

Recommended motor oil

Your owners manual should give you the recommended weight.
Most newer vehicles in normal climates use 5w-30 oil.
The brand is not as important as the correct weight.

I don't have the owners manual for my 2002 KIA RIO Cinco and i need the weight for the oil and brand to run in the 1.5 4 cylinder 18hp.

Age of vehicle would suggest a Multigrade 15W/30, such a Castrol, with a replacement Extended Service Oil filter. If you are in a cold weather area, and do a large amount of Stop/Start , or Short distance motoring. The OIL and Filter should be changed, after no more than 4ooo miles of operation.

How many quarts does trasmission hold

Hello skippy48067: My name is Roger and I will help you. You did not say if you have a automatic transmission of a standard so here are the specs on both. For the automatic the fluid type is (atf sp 111) and holds 6.2 qt. For the standard transmission the fluid type is (gl4 or gl5 80-90) and it holds 2.96 qt. If you have the standard transmission ? Be sure you use the correct fluid. If you do not use the correct type of 80-90 weight oil you will ruin the transmission. Should you need further help please just ask. Thank You for using Fix Ya.
