Our 2006 PT Cruiser is a wonderful car. Today we locked up using the keyless remote with the double click which activates the alarm. About ten seconds later the blinker lights flashed, then in another ten seconds the alarm sounded. We de-activated using the keyless remote unlock. Then we locked again. No matter whether we clicked or double clicked the lock, the alarm would sound within 30 seconds. We re-started and moved the vehicle. Same thing. Right now it sits unlocked, because we cannot lock using the keyless remote without the alarm going off.
Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks....

Hi, mechanics are good at fixing mechenical components but may not be so good at sorting out auto electrics. Get the services of an alarm installer to resolve the issue. One who is familiar with your device will probably be best.
