Question about 1996 Dodge Dakota
I have a '96 Dodge Dakota 5.2 V8 4x4 that will crank, but will not run. I am not getting a spark from the ignition coil. I've replaced the ignition coil, ensured that I have not corrosion at the battery cables and am getting fuel into the system. What are the most probable causes?
Idle air control motor. try to start it at 1/4 trottle down

A bad crank sensor or dist pickup plate can cause this.... check the fuses in the fuse block under the hood for any blown ..... a bad auto shut down relay may cause it .....try putting a test light on the green and orange wire and see if it lights up when you try to crank it
