I BOUGHT MY CX9 A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO,ITS USED BUT IN PERFECT CONDITION AND THE RADIO WORKS PERFECT BUT DOESNT HAVE SOUND,I HAVE TRY EVERYTHING AND NOTHING HAPPENS
My sound came back on the other day. What I did was opened the car with the key fob and held it down so that all the windows opened then reversed it to close all the windows and my sound came back on???? Not sure why? But now it has gone again. I tried to repeat what I did with the key fob but no luck as yet. I am thinking it might be something to do with the key battery??? As it doesn't always open and have to press my unlock on key fob. I must also add that my sound works for a couple days then when I don't use my car for 3 days or so then the sound is gone. Not sure if this applies but trying to eliminate every option. Think I'm getting close to resolve this one. Watch this space. :-/ for now. Pete G
Sometimes there is a mute function and some cars have a telephone button which mutes the system. Now there are passCodes for radios with Satellite. The radio is "locked" until the driver subscibes to a Satellite provider, just like Direct TV. An account must be paid for to get Premium service. Your radio must be set to a Non-Premium channel to work.
This is a small item to correct and you should return to the Seller for advice, especially if it was a car lot.
I hope my solution was useful.
mine has all the phone buttons on the steering wheel but i dont know how to use them,i have try the manual instructions but nothing happens
There may be a Mute button on the radio face. Also the Telephone buttons may need a Telephone to work them. Could be that the system is being "Quiet" waiting for a telephone to link and it is in setup Mode. You need a Bluetooth driven phone to connect. I am also lost about the Radio working perfect, but no sound. Try the CD player to see if it makes sound. Can not figure how you know if radio works if you can not hear it.
I ALLREADY PUT A CD AND IT PLAYS THE SONGS BUT NO MUSIC,AND I PUT A CABLE ON THE AUX AND CONNECTED TO MY I POD AND THE SAME THING I SEE THE TRACKS IN THE SCREEN BUT NO SOUND,A GUY TOLD ME TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FOR A FEW MINUTES AND WAIT TO RESET THE RADIO BUT I DONT KNOW
You can try that, leave it disconnected for 10 minutes.
