I am assuming you own the car. It is a very involved process and you need to get parts from a dealer, or a junkyard. BUT, if you get parts from junkyard chances on keys not so good. Either way yuo will need to disassemble the entire door interior, and remember how everything goes together so your window will work afterwards.

Need to change the fuel filter on an 1988 Accord LXi

The fuel filter will most likely be in the frame rail under the driver side door.

1988 Honda Accord back door locks broken

You should just be able to take the door panel off. A part like that may be hard to find tho... may have to go to a salvage yard and pull it. Those 'odd' parts like that can be a PIA to find!!

I have an 89 Honda Civic and have had to get dorky parts like that at a junk yard before! Also a great place to find rims!! (those 4 lug ones can be hard to find and MEGA expensive if you go to dealer)

1988 honda accord 2 door I need to change clutch

no remove gearbox but you might need to lower subframe to gain access ,use an engine lift to support gearbox or a block and tackle so you can pull it out and not have to lower it

Passenger and driver side door locks are hard to open with key

Take a can of WD40 (the newer can) with the spray straw...carefully insert the straw into the key hole as far as you can...spray and use the key to turn the assembly..lock and unlock several times CAREFULLY so you don't break off the key..sounds like you just need a little lube on the lock assembly.

I hope this helps you and your son
