Installation of magnetic fuel line economy booster

I would like to try out the Fuel Boss, a magnetic fuel line economy booster on my 2003 525i. (a report in this past month's Scientific American confirms the effectiveness of this technology..worth a try). Where is the best place to locate this device on this vehicle? For that matter, where is the best place to locate it on my 2004 BMW X5?

WHAT WOULD CAUSE MY 2012 OUTBACK TO TRY & SURGE AHEAD WHEN I SLOW DOWN & APPLY THE BRAKES

The surge you experience will be the air/ fuel mixture adjusting to normal from the extra air from the brake booster. With you economy so low during winter I would be checking the fault codes for faults in the air/fuel system as it should get better as cold air has more oxygen content so more power with less fuel. There is only a rich mixture used while the engine is warming up and once at operating temperature then that rich mixture is reduced to normal mixture

I am getting poor fuel economy. The truck has 88,800 miles. Fuel filter, and air filter were changed in 2011. The tailpipe is black and I run fuel injecter cleaner every 3000 miles.

Poor fuel economy can come from bad fuel or tune up.Try switching to a gas with a higher octane and give your truck a full tune up.This should help your fuel economy out a little.

THE ENGINE DON T WORKS VERY WELL.ESITATIONS AND IT START TO EAT A LOT OF FUEL.HAVE YOU A SOLUTION?

Clean your throttle body with throttle body cleaner for starters. Do this with the battery disconnected, the hesitation may be due to a sticking butterfly in the throttle body which will also cause bad fuel economy. Also, try running some Seafoam through the brake booster, which will clean the top end of the engine.

My 2006 VW Velocity start but does not idle. What can possible the problem

sounds like a bad idle control sensor, most garages charge $75.00 for a diagnostic, the sensor is about $45.00 it could also be a bad fuel filter, have you been burning 87 octane fuel?[cheapest fuel] ethanol fuel is'nt good for your v.w. at least try to use 89 0ctane but no ethanol fuel!! you can use 87 octaneBUT you need to add octane booster with it, which you can get at the dollar general,wal-mart,k-mart,auto zone, advance auto it's really an economy thing though. what ever your budget is, i have a 87 toyota van and use it every day for qa mechanic svc. i buy 89 octane fuel,i've bought 87 octane and everytime i have,i've had to replace the fuel filter. merry christmas!! and as always, if you need further assistance please repost your question and an expert will be happy to assist you!!

Here do I fix the eps magnets on the fuel line

The Magnets don't work, and they have a negative effect on the fuel line. The magnetic field promote corrosion on the fuel line, the best saving device is a light foot and maintenance. Replacing the fuel and air filters and keeping the MAF sensor and Throttle body cleaned will be the best thing you can do. Good luck

Had a poor gas milage only 23 mile per gallon city

Keep your services up also on the transmission. Try this simple fix, get some octane booster and injector cleaner and put them into the tanks $8. Hopefully this will help break off the carbon deposits in the injectors and give you a smooth economical ride. Good luck

Car starts but only runs about 5 seconds

scan it.to see if the camsensor or crank sensor also egr valve.working.make sure egr valve not stuck open.if all is good.your fuel pressure low.change fuel filter check fuel pressure.if fuel pressure good.you got a intake manifold leak or broke vacuum line .check power brake booster vacuum line.if look good remove brake booster check valve.blow through it.if you can replace it.if not its okay.a bad or dead fuel fuel injectors will cause engine to stall out.
