Question about 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee and i need to change the fuel filter! one problem, i dont know where it is located.. if you could help me with that, that would be very much appreciated! you could write me back at firstname.lastname@example.org with a description or with picutres.. thank you
Whoops someone is messing with you! The fuel filter is a screen assembly that is married with the high-pressure electric fuel pump which is buried in the gas tank. A replacement pump and filter assembly can be purchased for $90 but dealers usually charge $150-190. B/C of the high pressure in the fuel system (b/c of the EFI) a dealer or experienced Jeep mechanic is the best way to fix this problem. Expect to pay $300-500 to get the repair done. MY ADVICE - have everything related to the fuel pump, filter, and Guage Sensor replaced at one time. It will save you LOTS of problems.

There is another one above the rear.It also regulates the pressure.
