The engine light of my 2000 dodge neon will come on an flash, particularly when I'm stopped and try to go up a hill and the car shakes when I back up, and also is I'm stopped and go up a hill and feels as though it's missing or slipping

i think its a common peugeot fault as my 2005 plate 206 and the wifes 2002 plate 307 both have the same problem.
