I turned on my car and when pulling out the stabilitrak light came on
Same as any dash light you ever got on any vehicle
Same procedure every time any check light comes on
Check for codes within a day, then determine the items
within a system that have a fault
Then determine if you should be using the vehicle until
further diagnoses can be arranged
If you have an owners manual your question maybe in there
Stabiitrac,Trac Control,VSC,etc are all just names for added
features to your ABS Braking Systems
Can't guess at specifics, all systems are designed differently
& sometimes from year to year
Need the codes & diagnostic manuals or some form of reference
material to diagnose.
The only somewhat common failure on any vehicle, is a wheel speed sensor
As long as it is held on with one bolt or a clip, it is an easy fix
If it is internal in the Wheel Bearing Hub Assy, then you got
$150 for the hub alone, plus labor
In that case do both side, as the hubs will fail after 100,000
at some point in time
SOURCE: Service Stabilitrak-Reduced Engine Power
the engine light is a generic fault indicator in your car to point out something is not quite right with the engine, having a loss of power as well is also known in some areas as Limp Mode or Safety Mode. it means the car is restricting the power it gives to ensure no damage it done to the engine.
the only certain way to find out what is wrong is to take it to a garage that has diagnostics equipment that can read the fault codes from the vechicles ECU (the fault codes will be the reason the light on the dash has come on as its reporting a fault somewhere)..
your mechanic should be able to tell you what is wrong with the engine from that and give you a more accurate cost at fixing it.

YOu need to take it to a shop immediately the stabilitrax and the abs indicators has to do with your car being stabilized and the abs has something to do with your brakes. Hope this helps!?

SOURCE: 2007 Equinox. No power steering,
Had same problem, went to work everything was fine, then got in vehicle getting ready for lunch......no power steering and service stabilitrak light came on. End result was power steering motor needed replaced. Motor controls the power to the rear wheels along with the power steering.

OK, there are several points that need to be made here.
First, please review this article: Where's The Fuse?
Second, the fuse for your Auxilliary Power outlets is marked "AUX PWR" and is located in the engine compartment fuse block.
Third, this fuse has absolutely nothing to do with your Stabiltrak system, nor does it have anything to do with your engine management system. This fuse powers ONLY the Auxilliary power outlets.
If your battery has gone dead, it may now be very weak and can cause all kinds of drivability problems. If your battery is more than 4 years old, it may be time to replace it. It could be the root cause of both the Stabiltrak problem and the problem with the way that your engine is running.
The only way to find out why your stabiltrak light was on is to scan your computer system and retrieve the fault code that would have been stored in the computer memory when the light came on. the same should be done for your engine management system if you are experiencing problems with the way it is running.
